A.J. Brown’s midweek illness won’t keep him out of Week 12’s Sunday Night Football game.

Everyone felt relatively confident on Friday. A.J. Brown was listed on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ injury report for a second consecutive afternoon with an illness, but unlike Thursday, he was a full participant at practice. That led us to believe that he’d be okay for Sunday Night Football’s game versus the Green Bay Packers, but one can never be too sure until we’re given a final say so.

As is customary, Philly released their inactives 90 minutes before kickoff. That’s when we could breathe a sigh of relief and wipe the sweat from our collective brows. A.J. Brown is active and will start Week 12’s game.

Someone send a bottle of champagne to the Eagles’ medical staff. They continue to get the job done as they have done for most of the season.

Eagles inactives versus Packers:

Rookie cornerback Josh Jobe sits out of his third consecutive game (and his fifth in six weeks). He’s been dealing with a hamstring issue. The Philadelphia Eagles listed four other Birds on their Week 12 inactives list. Here’s a look at the list in its entirety.

  • Ian Book, quarterback
  • Trey Sermon, running back
  • Josh Sills, guard
  • Sua Opeta, guard
  • Josh Jobe, cornerback

For those who are interested in what’s going on in the other locker room, here’s the rundown. The Packers have four players on their injured reserve: linebackers Tipa Galeai and Rashan Gary, offensive lineman Jake Hanson, and cornerback Eric Stokes.

They too have five players on their inactives list.

  • Shemar Jean-Charles, cornerback
  • Johnathan Abram, safety
  • De’Vondre Campbell, linebacker
  • Rasheed Walker, offensive lineman
  • Romeo Doubs, wide receiver
  • Jonathan Ford, defensive lineman

This one’s scheduled for an 8:20 p.m. EST kickoff. Fingers are crossed for an Eagles win and a clean bill of health for everyone at the game’s end.
