Okay, let’s do some inventory. We have a December game to attend, the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles, the AFC South-leading Tennessee Titans, a legitimate MVP candidate in Jalen Hurts, and one of the best running backs walking in Derrick Henry. As great as that is, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Rookie first-rounder Jordan Davis makes his return. How much he’ll play is unknown. One would think, versus a Titans squad that likes to line up and pound the rock, that he’ll get a lot of work. This is tricky though. He’s coming off of a high-ankle sprain, and he’s never played more than 29 snaps in any game since being drafted.

Thankfully, the Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of bodies to throw at the Titans along the defensive line’s interior. Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Ndamukong Suh, Linval Joseph, and Milton Williams will all work collectively to keep each other fresh. This could wind up being a very good day.

Philadelphia Eagles Week 13 inactives

We’ve known for a while that C.J. Gardner-Johnson will sit this one out. On Friday, we learned that Robert Quinn will as well. The Philadelphia Eagles announced the aforementioned return of Davis on Saturday, along with their decision to place C.J. on the injured reserve and the promotion of linebacker Christian Elliss from the practice squad to the active roster for this game.

90 minutes before the kickoff of their 12th game, they released their inactives. Quarterback Ian Book, cornerback Josh Jobe, running back Trey Sermon, guard Josh Sills, guard Sua Opeta, and defensive end Robert Quinn are all sitting out of this one.
