Have you ever wondered what some of these NFL rookies do during their days off? Thanks to our friends over at Whistle, we have an answer. It seems like it was just yesterday when the Philadelphia Eagles spent a lucky 13th-overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft on Jordan Davis. Philly’s Week 15 game versus the Chicago Bears marks the tenth pro football game of his career.

They grow up so fast, don’t they?

Davis is destined for a long and fruitful career in the National Football League, but every once in a while, even a highly-touted rookie and one of the most decorated college football stars of recent memory needs a break.

For Davis, his recent day off included some bowling, a game of pool, and so much more. His friend and co-Eagles rookie Nakobe Dean even dropped by to hang out.

Give this one a look. You won’t be disappointed. Thank Whistle’s YouTube channel for the clip.

Whistle’s ‘Days Off’ series was born out of the ‘No Days Off’ series, one that profiles professional athletes as they train and work to be the best in their respective sports, but it’s good to see these guys unwind too.

Someone get Jordan on the phone though. It appears our invitation to the festivities was lost in the mail.

More Eagles news: Eagles announce Week 15 roster moves.

We were all looking forward to the announcement that Dallas Goedert would return from injured reserve ahead of Week 15’s game versus the Chicago Bears. It appears we’ll have to wait until at least Philadelphia’s game versus the Dallas Cowboys to receive that announcement.

The Eagles announced two roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game. Goedert’s activation wasn’t one of them. They instead elevated two players from the practice squad to the active roster. Three-time punter Brett Kern gets the nod as does rookie reserve linebacker/special teamer Christian Elliss.

Hot. 10 Bears to watch besides Justin Fields. light
