Eagles news: Hugh Douglas comes home, LeSean McCoy rips Dak Prescott
Change is the only constant in the NFL. Professional athletes will often change their address and join other organizations, but some guys are Philadelphia Eagles for life. Hugh Douglas and LeSean McCoy most certainly qualify.
The former was officially inducted into the franchise’s Hall of Fame on November 27th. The latter, most certainly, will join him there one day. Both spent time with other franchises and ended their careers in other jerseys, but make no mistake about it. They’ve been enjoying lives after football, and they still bleed green.
Hugh Douglas comes home to the Eagles nest and joins 94 WIP-FM.
For those that may be unaware, Hugh Douglas has been in Georgia for a long time now, working for 92.9 The Game, a sports talk radio station in Atlanta. We tuned in a few times to check him out, but it just didn’t feel right. Well, he’s come home as it has been announced that he’ll join 94 WIP-FM soon.
He and Joe Giglio will take over the WIP Midday Show as Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie move to the morning slot with long-time on-air personality Angel Cataldi. Hugh has always shown appreciation for the City of Atlanta for welcoming him with open arms, but who are we kidding? If he’s going to work in radio, it only makes sense that he continues to make his mark in Philly.
Eagles legend LeSean McCoy rips Dak Prescott daily for the Eagles on FS1’s ‘Speak’.
Speaking of making one’s mark in media. How about LeSean McCoy? Maybe we’re biased, but we’ve been tuning in to FS1’s Speak for a while now, mainly because of former Bird Emmanuel Acho (once an Eagle, always an Eagle).
We also can’t help but smile every time we tune in and see the new lineup with LeSean McCoy on the panel. Fear not, Acho still goes full-scale Philly every now and then, and no one is throwing any shade at the Philadelphia Eagles on Shady’s watch.
How about this rant? Dak Prescott, you are not safe!

After having time to calm down, rather than rethink his stance, he doubled down.
With that, we’ll call it a morning. Well, done Shady. Welcome home Hugh. Go Birds! Regardless of where life has taken these guys, they’re still Eagles through and through.
