Numbers… numbers.. and more numbers… As Philadelphia Eagles fans, we obsess over stats. That’s why we pay the premium prices to hang out on Pro Football Focus and follow NFL Next Gen Stats on Twitter. Numbers are a huge part of the NFL experience as well, but none are more important than the numbers placed next to the win and loss total.

In order for the Birds to add another win to their current total (13), they need to tack another loss on the Dallas Cowboys ledger. They currently have four of those. It’s as simple as that.

We expect Philly to get the job done. Even without Jalen Hurts, they’re a better team than the Cowboys are. Gardner Minshew and the NFL’s best team soar in this one. That’s our guess. Here are three wagers that can place you in the winner’s circle alongside them.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas Cowboys

  • Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer (+105)
  • Eagles QB Gardner Minshew Alternate Passing Yards: Over 200 (-245)
  • Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer (+105)

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer (-105)

There’s no better way to take the home crowd out of a game than by running all over them. There’s no better offensive line and no better rushing attack than that of the Eagles. We expect a heavy dose of Miles Sanders and the running game. We’ll have to wait and see if Philly’s coaches agree, but either way, at some point, we feel that Sanders will reach the end zone in this one.

Eagles QB Gardner Minshew Alternate Passing Yards: Over 200 (-245)

In two games as the Eagles’ starting quarterback last season, Gardner Minshew passed for 428 yards, 242 versus the New York Jets and 186 versus the Cowboys in the regular-season finale.

That Week 18 total came with him being surrounded by backups for most of the contest as the Birds had made the decision to throttle it down to prepare for the Wild Card Round.

This time around, he’ll be surrounded by the best supporting cast. Versus a Cowboys secondary that has a tendency to give up big plays, 200 yards passing feels like a nice number. And, with our theory that Philly will rely on the running game, this feels like a safe and wise play.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert Receiving Yards: Over 40.5 (-114)

Tight ends are known as security blankets for quarterbacks. In both of his starts last season, Gardner looked for his guys often.

Dallas Goedert racked up six receptions for 205 yards and two TDs versus the Jets last season with Minshew tossing him the rock, and the Tyree Jackson/Richard Rodgers tandem combined for five receptions and a TD (Jackson’s first)) in Week 18 last season.

Goedert will have a nice afternoon. Minshew feels comfortable with him, and the Eagles coaching staff figures to target him a lot in his return. 41 yards receiving should be an easy ask.
