Santa Claus is impressed by the Eagles and the rest of the NFC East this season.

The Philadelphia Eagles survived a spirited effort from the dynamic Justin Fields and Chicago Bears last Sunday to improve their record to 13-1. The win came at a cost though. QB1 Jalen Hurts was slammed to the turf. A sprained shoulder was the result. It’s Christmas time. It’s also Dallas Cowboys week, and every team in the NFC East is on Santa’s nice list this year, with every team in the division improving from last year and every team being in playoff contention with three weeks remaining in the season.

Let’s be real, old Kris Kringle was very close to putting the Cowboys on his naughty list, even Santa gets tired of hearing about how the so-called ‘America’s team’ is a Super Bowl contender and on equal footing with Philly. Their play as of late speaks to another theory.

The big man was also happy to see the two former Penn State running backs, Miles Sanders and Saquon Barkley stay relatively healthy this year, which helped both of them rush for over 1,000 yards.

The State of the NFC East this week reads as follows. All four teams will potentially give their respective fan bases a welcomed gift for the holidays, a postseason berth, but Santa has been especially kind to one fan base in general. Let’s get to it.
