By now, you should have placed the Philadelphia Eagles‘ Christmas Eve loss versus the Dallas Cowboys behind you. That was tough to take, but we must move on. One loss can’t lead to another, and the Birds have a huge opportunity in front of them.
All that’s needed is for Philly to take care of business versus the New Orleans Saints. If they do that, they take ownership of the NFC East’s crown and a first-round bye during the coming postseason.
FanDuel favors the Eagles by 5.5 points We expect a more focused team than we saw in Arlington and a double-digit win. Here are a few wagers that are very intriguing.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Philadelphia Eagles versus New Orleans Saints
- Philadelphia Eagles QB Gardner Minshew Passing Yards
- Eagles WR DeVonta Smith Receiving Yards
- Eagles TE Dallas Goedert Alternate Receiving Yards
Philadelphia Eagles QB Gardner Minshew Passing Yards: Over 239.5
Jalen Hurts was listed as doubtful on Friday’s injury report. That means, for all intents and purposes, that Gardner Minshew is expected to receive the keys to Philly’s offense. In Week 16, he played well over the rival Dallas Cowboys (24 completions on 40 attempts, 355 yards passing, and three total touchdowns).
With another healthy dose of reps under his belt, we expect another nice showing versus what might be an undermanned Saints squad. 240 passing yards appears to be an easy ask.
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith Receiving Yards: Over 55.5 (-114)
DeVonta Smith has been hot as of late, and with New Orleans’ secondary dealing with a lot of injured players, it stands to reason that he won’t cool off versus the Saints in a home game.
Eagles TE Dallas Goedert Alternate Receiving Yards: Over 40 (-108)
Dallas Goedert‘s return in Week 16 didn’t produce a ton of fireworks. Expect Philadelphia’s coaching staff to scheme a lot of plays to get the ball in his hands and help him get back into a groove.
