Good gracious this Philadelphia Eagles season has flown by. It wasn’t that long ago that we were discussing the Detroit Lions. Now, here we are with two games remaining on the season. As fast as things have gone, there have also been moments where it has felt like time stood still. That loss to the Dallas Cowboys feels like it was a long time ago.

None of that matters now. Two home games remain, one versus the New Orleans Saints and another versus the New York Giants. One win will ensure the Birds a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs.

From where we’re sitting, it’s better to take care of business now and rest the starters in Week 18. We believe Philly can get the job done. We expect a double-digit win versus the Saints on New Year’s Day. Here are a few wagers that you may see as being attractive.

Best Bets for Philadelphia Eagles versus New Orleans Saints

  • Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer
  • 1st Half Spread: Eagles -3.5 (+100)
  • Eagles Total Points: Over 23.5 (-116)

Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer (-110)

Jalen Hurts appears to be out of this one. He was listed as doubtful on Philadelphia’s Week 17 injury report on Friday. We know that, as good as Gardner Minshew can be at times, he isn’t going to be picking up the slack with his legs.

Expect a few extra carries for Miles Sanders as Philly looks to try and restore some of his confidence after a rough couple of weeks. He’ll reach the end zone at some point. Also, if the Birds are up late which is exactly how we see this one playing out, Philly will employ the running game to salt this one away.

1st Half Spread: Eagles -3.5 (+100)

At the risk of sounding disrespectful, we all know the Eagles should have beaten Dallas on Christmas Eve. They didn’t. We know they’re ticked off about it, and we expect a dominant win from them as a result.

New Orleans is a worthy opponent. We still expect Philly to lead from start to finish in this one.

Eagles Total Points: Over 23.5 (-116)

All week, our prediction for the final score has been 31-16 in favor of the Eagles. We see no reason to change that now. The Birds win this one, and they do so going away.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
