It feels like the Philadelphia Eagles‘ loss to the New Orleans Saints was two weeks ago. It’s been a long stretch of days. During crisis, we were forced to look inwardly and appreciate life and the men who literally place their lives on the line to earn a salary and provide us with an escape from our daily grinds. Thankfully, Damar Hamlin’s health is improving, but as far as our Birds are concerned, we’re still frustrated.

Philly lost to an inferior team. We missed on almost every wager we placed last week.

If you named Kenneth Gainwell as an anytime touchdown scorer (and watched him get his score taken away by a bogus holding call), trust us. We understand. If you took the Eagles or the line we apologize. If you took the OVER, we’re right there with you. We’re as frustrated as you are.

Another week brings another chance to knock one out of the park though. We’ve found three wagers we like. These should put you back in the winner’s circle.

Best Bets for Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants

  • Both teams complete their first pass attempt
  • First-Half Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
  • Eagles RB Miles Sanders Anytime TD Scorer

Both Eagles and Giants complete their first pass attempt (Yes) +112

This one is trending towards ‘blowout’ territory. Tyrod Talyor figures to make the start here. We’d favor Jalen Hurts in a quarterback duel, but Taylor is no slouch. He isn’t going to lie down and let the Eagles roll all over him or his team.

Expect the Eagles and Giants to draw up something relatively easy to get their signal-callers in a groove. We see no reason why both teams won’t complete their first pass attempt.

Team to Score First: Philadelphia Eagles -240

Philly has the better team, especially when we dig deeper into the depth charts, and with the knowledge that they must win this week, we expect a more spirited and focused effort than we saw in Week 17.

Look for the Birds to try to end this one early and get off to a good start. Hey, we wouldn’t have any problem with them TAKING the ball if they won the coin toss. Either way, even if they don’t, they’ll score before New York will.

First-Half Winner: Philadelphia Eagles -550

We fully expect the Birds to dominate in this one. If they’re truly the NFC’s best team (which we believe they are), rolling over the Giants should be an easy ask, especially after a loss.

Philly dominates this one from the opening kickoff to the final whistle. They’ll lead after the first quarter and first half, and if everything goes according to plan, they’ll have an opportunity to give the first team some rest once they’re comfortably ahead in the fourth quarter.
