Ever since the Philadelphia Eagles began training camp and the rest of us were watching HBO’s Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions series, this team, its fans, and members of the media all have had one goal in mind. Get to Glendale, Arizona by any means necessary. No, wait. That isn’t totally true. That thought began much earlier.

For Philly, this began with that loss versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round last January. It was a humbling defeat, but we all learned something. With some added reinforcements, this team could make some serious noise, especially if Jalen Hurts and this young coaching staff takes a few leaps in 2022.

Well, leaps have been made. Hurts is a legitimate MVP-level quarterback. Nick Sirianni has an argument for winning Coach of the Year. Shane Steichen and Jonatha Gannon will earn head-coaching jobs before long.

Those reinforcements have been added, from A.J. Brown and James Bradberry to Kyzir White, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Linval Joseph, and Ndamukong Suh. Eight Pro Bowlers, nine alternates, and six AP All-Pros lead the way. The Eagles are the National Football Conference’s top-seeded team.

They enjoy the bye week as the NFL’s postseason begins. Their journey resumes in the Divisional Round. Here are their most likely paths to Super Bowl LVII.
