If this is that last ride for the Philadelphia Eagles on this list, we’ve had a ball.

Though it may sound strange to say this, the one thing that we can count on in the NFL with our Philadelphia Eagles is the knowledge that change will occur. Nothing lasts forever.

An offseason, organized team activities, training camp, and an 18-week/17-game grind have led us to this. We’ve reached the postseason, and if the Birds can concoct a three-game winning streak, they’ll raise a second Vince Lombardi Trophy.

There’s a win-now mode we’re seeing because this is one of the best Eagles teams that we have ever seen, but once the Birds are done playing, regardless of how things turn out, everyone is aware that this team can’t stay together as currently constructed.

Decisions have to be made on 20 potential free agents. There’s a chance that the Philadelphia Eagles will be forced to say goodbye to a few legends at season’s end. Let’s hope they leave with some hardware.

If Philadelphia’s season ends with a Super Bowl win, this entire team will be legends forever, but for a handful of Eagles, franchise legends that may be playing their final stretch of games here, this run can be truly special. Phrases like ‘storybook ending’ come to mind.

This list consists of five men. Three have played for four Eagles head coaches. They were drafted during Andy Reid’s tenure. They have survived Chip Kelly and suited up for Doug Pederson AND Nick Sirianni. We begin with a six-time Pro Bowler.
