Make no mistake about it. The Eagles have quite a few names on their NFL Draft board already.

The ultimate goal is the ultimate goal, and we all know what that is for the Philadelphia Eagles. They want to establish some postseason momentum, beat the New York Giants, and move from the Divisional Round of the playoffs to the NFC Championship Game. As far as their front office is concerned, they’re focused on the present and future as they have watched college football’s best players develop all season. They’ll look to land a few during the coming NFL Draft.

The Eagles are in a unique but favorable position. They own the top seed in the NFC, but they also own the tenth pick in April’s draft. Their scouts, both NFL and collegiate, have been hard at work. They’ve worked just as hard if not harder than the NFL’s bottom feeders, the Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans, or Carolina Panthers for instance.

The Eagles made a shocking trade with the Saints before the 2022 NFL Draft, and now, following an underwhelming season, New Orleans has gifted the Eagles with a top-ten selection.

This is an opportunity to select a player who could and develop into a superstar. This will also allow Philly to save some cap space on that young man’s rookie contract. Let’s look ahead while taking a look at one prospect’s name that you may have heard and a couple of other guys that you might also see as being interesting.
