49ers vs. Eagles best NFL prop bets for NFC Championship (Trust DeVonta Smith)
By Reed Wallach

It’s conference championship weekend and there are expanded prop markets to bet into.
You can check out the full game preview for 49ers vs. Eagles in the NFC championship game here, but this article is going to focus on player props, namely for DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
49ers vs. Eagles best prop bets
- DeVonta Smith OVER 66.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
- Dallas Goedert OVER 4.5 Receptions (-130)
- Brock Purdy OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-145)
DeVonta Smith OVER 66.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Smith hauled in a touchdown in the divisional round, one of his six catches with 61 yards to go with it. However, I think that this game script is going to call for the Eagles to attack the 49ers deep. The team is bottom third in the league in DVOA against deep passes, a vulnerable spot in the secondary, and I expect Jalen Hurts to find his former Alabama teammate deep.
While he went under this number last week, Smith’s regular season average was over 70 yards per game.
yards.
Dallas Goedert OVER 4.5 Receptions (-130)
It’s the playoffs and I expect the Birds to go to their reliable targets in the passing game. That means Smith (who we mentioned above), A.J. Brown, who was a bit banged up in the Giants game, and their tight end Dallas Goedert.
Goedert went over this total in more than half of the total games, but more importantly last week. The Eagles tight end caught all five of his targets, which is going to be important for a banged up Jalen Hurts who may want to limit the amount of hits he takes during the game. Goedert has been a safety valve underneath all season and I expect his role to be maximized on Sunday.
Brock Purdy OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-145)
Purdy hasn’t tossed an interception in either playoff game, and Kyle Shanahan is doing everything in his power to scheme a safe game plan, however if the team falls behind he’s going to need to throw against this Eagles defense and I expect the veteran secondary to pounce on the rookie quarterback.
We saw the limitations of Purdy last week, completing only 19-of-29 passes for 214 yards. I think the Eagles get ahead early and force the Niners signal caller into a mistake.
