Ask any member of Generation X, and they’ll probably tell you that they wouldn’t trade our time on Planet Earth for anything. We have seen two of the greatest eras of Philadelphia Eagles football. We’ve seen the Birds play in eight NFC Championship Games and three Super Bowls, and on February 12th, we’ll see them play in a fourth.

We’ve seen Dr. J, Charles Barkley, and Allen Iverson play for the 76ers. We’ve seen the Phillies win the world series. We have also seen the Eagles hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time as a result of one of those aforementioned Super Bowl appearances. The third attempt definitely brought the charm, and here’s the best part. We might earn an opportunity to see them do that again.

Some of our modern-day technology came late for Generation X Philadelphia Eagles fans, but ahead of Super Bowl LVII, Alexa puts a smile on our faces.

Despite the fact they have a few more grey hairs than they once did and they’re often injury risks while doing basic activities like walking or taking a nap, the many members of Generation X can appreciate the way things were and the way they are now.

If only we had Amazon shopping, the internet, free long-distance calling, and social media for advertising. Could you imagine where we would be now?

No, wait… It was Generation X and some of those Millenials that built the Internet, but you get the idea. Oh, and how about this? What if Amazon’s Alexa application could have helped us with our homework?

Those of you who are enjoying your fourth decade on this planet (or more) are probably juggling Siri, Cortana, Bixby, and Alexa quite often. All provide immediate feedback. We asked Alexa her thoughts on Super Bowl LVII.

Our fingers are crossed. She doesn’t always do what we ask, but hey, she hasn’t lied to us yet either.

Sure, we could debate over different eras of music. Most of the members of Generation X who are reading this were probably born on the tail-end of the spectrum, but again, we’ve seen some great moments, haven’t we? Hopefully, we’ll see that second Eagles Super Bowl win.

It wasn’t that long ago that we thought we were in danger of never seeing the first. Hmm, there’s even more evidence that these Millenials and Zoomers are a spoiled bunch.
