Has it been five years already? Most of us will never forget where we were when we watched the Philadelphia Eagles win their first Vince Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LII, and following a game that featured so many memorable moments, it became pretty obvious early that we’d never forget the game for as long as we live.

There was Alshon Jeffery’s adjustment five yards deep in the end zone for the game’s first touchdown, the Philly Special, Corey Clement’s catch and run that set the play up, Clement’s top-tap in the back of the end zone, Zach Ertz’s catch and dive that put the Eagles up on the scoreboard for good following a New England Patriots go-ahead drive, and Brandon Graham’s strip-sack.

Every time February 4th comes around, Eagles fans are normally in a good mood. On the fifth anniversary of the first Super Bowl win in franchise history, there was a celebratory mood unlike any that we have ever seen.

We started celebrating early after Tom Brady’s retirement announcement. The party continued through Saturday evening.

It never gets old! Can you imagine what will happen if the Eagles win Super Bowl LVII? The game is set for February 12th at 6:30 p.m. EST!

More Eagles news: Angelo Cataldi calls out the haters.

The end of an era nears. Angelo Cataldibegan his media career as a news editor for the Narragansett Times in 1975 before joining his hometown paper, the Providence Journal, as their general assignments reporter in 1977. These days we know him as the host of 94 WIP-FM’s Morning Show where he’s been the host since 1988.

He’s set to retire this month after Super Bowl LVII. On Friday’s show, he called out the Eagles haters in a classic rant. Click here to listen to the audio.

Angelo needs no introduction to Eagles fans or Philadelphia sports. No one needs to be reminded that, since Andy Reid’s departure, he hasn’t been shy about stating he, shall we say, isn’t a fan.

Let’s just say that, if the Eagles win a second Super Bowl and do so by beating Andy Reid to do it, Angelo will ride off into the sunset as a happy camper. Heck, let’s not act like any of the rest of us will be any less happy.

We may be happy for a different reason, but you get the idea. Whether you’re a fan of his or not, mornings in the City of Brotherly Live will be a lot different without Angelo.

Hot. 4 Chiefs besides Mahomes looking to ruin the party. light
