The Philadelphia Eagles jersey has changed a lot since it was first introduced in 1933. So has the helmet. We’ve seen a white cap with green wings, midnight green helmets with silver wings, and, this season, we saw an all-black ensemble. In 2023, the kelly green version will return… Who would have thunk though? An all-black helmet! The more things change, however, the more they stay the same.

Super Bowl LVII doubles as the fourth time that the Eagles have played on football’s biggest stage. In each of the previous three times that they have done so, they donned their traditional home jersey. Their fourth appearance will be no different.

It’s time for a fit check. Here’s a look at the most beautiful jersey in the National Football League as well as a few pregame tweets to get the blood flowing and the adrenaline pumping.

The Philadelphia Eagles meet their former head coach Andy Reid and the AFC’s best team, the Kansas City Chiefs, in Super Bowl LVII.

It’s never easy to win a Super Bowl much less qualify for one. Philadelphia has never been given an easy road to travel on football’s biggest stage, and Sunday night will be no different.

They haven’t met often. February 12th’s meeting will be the tenth clash between the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. K.C. owns the all-time series by a 5-4 margin, but no game has meant more. No meeting will be more difficult to win.

The Chiefs are led by what might be the NFL’s best coach, Andy Reid, and pro football’s best signal-caller, Patrick Mahomes. Philly and K.C. have both won 16 games, including their wins in the postseason. The team that wins a 17th will raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy. That team will solidify itself as one of the best teams in league history.

Geesh… Kickoff can’t get here fast enough.
