Did watching Rihanna at halftime sap Eagles defense of their energy?

As many Eagles fans enjoyed the Super Bowl 57 halftime show featuring Rihanna, it makes you wonder if those that are on the Eagles’ defense watched it instead of adjusting as needed. It’s crazy to think that the stout Eagles’ defense that dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in the first half all looked lost and confused in the second half.

Leaving players open, missed tackles, forgetting even how to tackle in some cases, and a plethora of miscues have defined the Eagles’ defense so far in the second half. It’s a shame as they were clicking on all cylinders to start Super Bowl 57 off but have seemingly lost that confidence, edge, and execution.

Hopefully, the Eagles bounce back and it’s not a case of players being too focused on Rihanna’s amazing halftime show. It sure looks the case as it’s been all downhill as the Chiefs have found their mojo and are doing their part to leave the big game victorious.
