The tough loss for the Eagles did show a national audience Jalen Hurts’ leadership.

The Philadelphia Eagles are still reeling from the Super Bowl LVII loss versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Philly let a double-digit lead slip away as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs rose to the occasion and scored 24 in the second half on the Birds’ defense.

Despite his defense letting KC back in the game, Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts did all he could on Sunday to bring the trophy back to the City of Brotherly Love. He finished the game with 304 yards passing, one touchdown through the air, 70 yards rushing, and three more scores with his legs. His only blemish on the night was a fumble that was returned for a touchdown.

QB1 for the Eagles could have blamed everyone but himself for the loss, but he’s not that kind of guy. The man oozes leadership, and during his post-game sit down with the media, he was gracious in defeat.

Just like the Wild Card Round loss last season, this defeat will have Jalen come back stronger than ever. His work ethic will definitely bleed over to his teammates who will be hungrier than ever to prove this wasn’t a fluke. Even with unknowns in the offseason, Philly could make a run back to the Super Bowl next year with the talent they have on their roster.

QB1 was gracious as he always was in his defeat. Let’s look at some of his postgame comments and how this loss will motivate him for next year.
