player. 893. . . . Emmanuel Forbes, Mississippi State. 8

If you’re a fan of the pre-draft process, make sure you place Emmanuel Forbes and Cam Smith on the list of players that you’re tracking.

Emmanuel Forbes needs to hit the weights or the buffet line. We can’t figure out which one would be the better option, but at 180 pounds, he could benefit from adding some mass. No one questions his game though.

In 2022, he racked up six interceptions and ten PBUs. He’s most certainly physical. Still, he’s 22 pounds lighter than James Bradberry, and we don’t want to see the guy get pushed around.

Cam Smith, Gamecocks. 7. player. 850. . .

You can always find some talent in Columbia, South Carolina. This time around, one of the stars of the show is Cam Smith. Is it just us or are the Gamecocks morphing into becoming ‘Cornerback U’?

As days and weeks pass, we’re trying to contain our excitement about this young man, but if he has a strong NFL Combine and good-looking Pro Day, we might start hearing Jaycee Horn comparisons.

Smith, a Second-Team All-SEC nod in 2021, has long arms and is very rangy. Does that sound familiar? He’s stuck his head in on four interceptions and 16 pass breakups throughout the past two college football seasons.
