The Eagles running back could fly south to Miami and join the Dolphins.
One of the top contending teams of the 2023 season that could be in the market for a running back during the offseason is the Miami Dolphins. They’ll lose three of their top backs in March: Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr., and Myles Gaskin.
Despite earning a postseason berth this past season and coming very close to knocking the Buffalo Bills out of the tournament, there may be a need for a slight reset and some changes at a few of the important positions. They ranked 25th in the league last season in rushing and only averaged 99.2 yards per game on the ground.
Sanders would definitely provide a shot in the arm for their running game. If he can stay healthy, combines with that passing game that the Dolphins have, he could see another 1,000-yard season. Plus, the added ability to run the ball could help this team go on a very deep playoff run.
A ball-control offense would be very beneficial for a team trying to upstage AFC powers like the Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals. Don’t forget about the fact that the AFC is also home to some up-and-comers like Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert.
