Former Eagles players who thrived on other NFL rosters in 2022
Mack Hollins had an impressive season in the silver and black in 2022.
This former fourth-round pick of the Eagles enjoyed a brief run, one that was mostly remembered because he showed up for home games in classic throwback jerseys. Mack Hollins‘ time in the City of Brotherly Love produced 351 receiving yards and one touchdown in two seasons. He missed the 2018 season with an injury.
Mack would be waived by Philly in December of 2019 but was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. Three seasons there produced 399 receiving yards with five touchdowns.
In 2022, Hollins found his way onto the Las Vegas Raiders roster where the wideout had a career year. 609 yards receiving with four touchdowns were the result of 17 games with 16 starts. Mack was one of the favorite targets of now-former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr last season. He hauled in 57 receptions on 94 targets. Only Davante Adams had more receptions on the team (100).
The former Birds receiver also produced the second-most receiving yards on the team. Again, Adams had the highest total (1,516).
Hollins’s best game of the 2022 season came in Week 3 when the Raiders took on the
Tennessee Titans. He notched a career-high 158 receiving yards with one touchdown in that one.
