Once often-injured, former Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks has been nearly indestructible as a member of the Cardinals and now the Vikings.

Nobody questioned Jordan Hicks‘s talent at the linebacker position when he was with the Eagles during the first four seasons of his career. His only issue was staying healthy. His rookie year ended with a trip to the injured reserve, and he was only able to finish one of his first four NFL seasons. He literally once injured himself while getting out of a swimming pool.

The Birds allowed him to walk during the 2019 offseason. As fate would have it, he’s been almost indestructible ever since. Go figure, huh? After leaving Philadelphia, he hasn’t missed a game in four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals (2019-2021) and the Minnesota Vikings (2022).

Jordan collected 254 tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble, six fumble recoveries, seven interceptions, and a pick-six (one versus the hated Dallas Cowboys) in 43 career games with the Philadelphia Eagles. His numbers have exploded since then.

In his three seasons with Arizona, Hicks racked up 383 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and four interceptions. He was released by the Cardinals in March of 2022. He then signed a two-year deal to join the Vikings.

In his first season in purple, Hicks had his highest tackle total in three years (129 stops). He posted the 18th-highest tackle total in the league last year. He also filled out the rest of his stat line with three sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception in 17 regular-season games.
