The NFL is a copycat league, and more often, we’re seeing other NFL teams exercise their versions of the Eagles’ business model, build from the inside out and construct each year’s roster by first ensuring both the offense and defense are solid in the trenches.

Speaking of the Bears… They were financially positioned to make some offseason moves last year and elected instead to blow up their roster. Now, with seemingly nothing left to trade away other than Justin Fields (if they keep that first-overall pick and draft a quarterback), this would be a nice opportunity to give the roster a facelift. They’re armed with the most cap space and need just about everything.
