Every stop on Eagles linebacker coach D.J. Eliot’s career ride
There’s no need in fibbing. Once the announcement was made that the Philadelphia Eagles had hired D.J. Eliot as their new linebackers coach, we had to perform a Google search. Sure, we had heard of him knowing that he had served as the Temple Owls’ defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach during the 2022 NCAA football season, but past that, we didn’t know much. Heck, we were just happy that Philly said no to Matt Patricia.

Let’s just say he’s experienced. The only question now is an obvious one. Who in the heck is going to be in his meeting room?
Philly’s top two linebackers on the depth chart from last season, T.J. Edwards and Kyzir White, are scheduled to enter free agency if no extensions are given. That leaves Nakobe Dean, Christian Elliss, Patrick Johnson, Kyron Johnson, Haason Reddick, and Davion Taylor on the current roster.
It will be nice to have T.J. back in the fold, but we’ll have to wait and see what transpires.
