And, just like that, another starter from the Philadelphia Eagles defense is expected to leave. On Wednesday, March 15th, just hours before the start of the new league year, it has been announced the Birds are pondering turning the page on Darius Slay.

Shortly after 10:45 a.m. EST on the East Coast, the five-time Pro Bowler posted a simple yet telling comment by way of his Twitter account… “Nothing but love Philly!! Let’s see where we heading next..”. Ian Rapoport retweeted said tweet about four minutes later.

With that, Big Play’s three seasons unofficially came to an end, prompting a reaction from one of his teammates from the most recent campaign, Swole Batman a.k.a. A.J. Brown.

It doesn’t appear that A.J. is happy about the news, but in truth, it’s doubtful that many are surprised. This comes less than 24 hours after it was announced that James Bradberry had agreed to terms on an extension that will keep him in Philadelphia through the 2025 NFL season.
