We knew the Philadelphia Eagles would look a bit different this season and the dust is starting to settle following free agency. Gone are Miles Sanders, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Javon Hargrave, but returning are Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Jason Kelce, and Brandon Graham.

Exciting players like Rashaad Penny are joining as well, so it can be expected that Philly will once again compete for a Super Bowl with one of the NFL’s best offenses.

Oddsmakers have the Eagles as not only contenders for the Super Bowl, but also expect Philadelphia to win the NFC East for the second consecutive season as well.

NFC East odds

The Eagles are tied with the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +900, trailing only the Chiefs. They’re tied with the San Francisco 49ers for the best odds in the NFC, so sportsbooks believe we may be in store for a rematch in the NFC Championship game.

With Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert operating behind what should be one of the NFL’s best offensive lines again, Philly should continue building on a sensational 2022-23 season that fell just short of a Super Bowl championship.

The defense should remain stellar as well, thanks to an explosive pass rush and a strong secondary. After narrowly losing to the Chiefs, you can bet the Eagles will attack next season with a vengeance and be among the last teams standing.
