4 players Eagles must place on trade block during 2023 NFL Draft

Every year we are led to believe the Eagles will trade Derek Barnett, and every year, he remains on the roster.

We all held onto hope that patience would reward us with Derek Barnett as it did with Brandon Graham. So far, that hope hasn’t materialized into much worth discussing. It may be time to give up on the former Tennessee Volunteer if you haven’t given up on him already.

Rumors swirled that there was a chance he would be moved at the trade deadline in 2021 and 2022. Many thought Philly would move on during the 2022 offseason when his contract expired. Nope! Each time, he remained on the roster. He was inked to a two-year extension on March 24th of 2022… Then he was lost to injury.

Philly has to have learned their lesson by now. This isn’t going to work out, and this may be their last chance to get something out of his departure. We’ll see if they make the effort. They would be wise to make an effort. Possible deals involving the other men on this list might be worth a discussion as well.
