If you have watched the journey, you have seen quite the transition. Philadelphia Eagles Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman has been described as many things. Some have said he gets too attached to players. Others describe him as a genius. Everyone agrees he’s great at what he does. It’s hard to believe that much of Philly’s fan base wanted him escorted out of town a few years ago.

He’s the reigning NFL Executive of the Year, so says the Pro Football Writers of America. That’s the second time that he has earned that honor. One can even argue that, if he helps lead the Eagles back to the Super Bowl and they win it, he might be discussed as a potential Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee.

He has come a long way from being buried in the Eagles equipment room by former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly (gosh, that guy was terrible), and here’s what might be his proudest accomplishment. He’s the owner of a nice write-up by the guys and gals at Wikipedia.

Wikipedia’s staff describes Eagles G.M. Howie Roseman as

If you’ve been following our exploits on Inside The Iggles for a long while, you’re more than aware that we have often referred to Howie Roseman as a magician. It appears the hard-working staff at Wikipedia agrees. As the 2023 NFL Draft wore on, everyone’s favorite exec saw his page updated. You won’t believe what was said… Or, maybe you can believe it.

No disrespect is intended here, but once, as a student, it was expressed to me that Wikipedia can never be used as a reliable source based on the exorbitant amounts of people who have been given licenses to update the information that it houses.

However, if this is the type of quality work that they provide, that theory may be adjusted. From where we’re sitting it appears they’re spot on.
