Josiah Scott, cornerback. 33. player. 54. . .

With Kelee Ringo’s addition, things are tighter now for some of the reserve Eagles corners (if Philly doesn’t move him to safety).

Darius Slay, James Bradberry, and Avonte Maddox are going to make the team, and if the Eagles carry six cornerbacks on their 53-man roster, which is pretty standard league-wide, the battle for those final three spots is going to be a fun watch during training camp and the preseason.

The last time we saw Josiah Scott, things weren’t going well. He held down the backup slot cornerback role, and frankly, he had a rough go at it during Avonte’s absence. He’s better than what he put on tape though.

What are his chances of making the squad? They could be better. They could be worse. Stay tuned!

. . Josh Jobe, cornerback. 28. player. 54.

Josh Jobe was one of three 2022 undrafted rookie free agents to make the Eagles’ final roster. Josh Sills and Reed Blankenship were the other two. This time around, he is in competition with Kelee Ringo (if the Eagles don’t move him to safety), Mario Goodrich, Greedy Williams, Josiah Scott, Zech McPhearson, and maybe Tristin McCollum for what might be three spots on the roster.

Undrafted rookie free agents Eli Ricks and Mekhi Garner are also in the mix. It should be an amazing competition. Did we mention the battle at cornerback is going to be fun to watch? Grab a seat and fasten the seatbelts. There’s more young talent here than what some were reporting.
