Will the Eagles’ secondary be able to contain the speedy duo of Hill and Waddle?

Despite having multiple quarterbacks throwing them the ball last season, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle showed the league they are a dangerous receiving duo for the Miami Dolphins.

After getting traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Dolphins during the 2022 offseason, Tyreek Hill continued to put up elite numbers that people expect to see from the veteran wideout. He posted a 1,000-yard season for the fifth time. He scored seven touchdowns in 17 games. He went over the century mark in seven different games.

The former Chief welcomes the challenge that the Birds’ secondary presents in 2023. He has recorded 229 yards with three touchdowns in two career games versus Philly. Let’s hope there’s a better game plan this time.

The other half of the talented Miami receiving duo is Jaylen Waddle. He recorded his second straight 1,000-yard season in his young career last year, posting 1,356 receiving yards with eight touchdowns in 17 games.

He exceeded the 100-yard threshold in 2022. That includes a 171-yard performance with two touchdowns in Miami’s Week 2 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Eagles’ secondary will be tested versus the Dolphins. It will be tough to stop this speedy duo, but Philly looks to end a two-game skid in this series and avenge a six-point loss suffered in a 37-31 shoutout in 2019.
