The Philadelphia Eagles crashed out of the postseason earlier than expected, forcing Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni to turn their attention to the 2026 NFL Draft.
It might be easy to blame this team's shortcomings on recently fired offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, but the rot goes deeper than that. The roster is no longer the unquestioned best in the league, and Philadelphia needs to turn to the Draft to bring in a collection of young replacements.
FanSided's recent 2026 NFL Mock Draft has the Eagles finding a replacement for the aging Dallas Goedert in the first round by taking Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq at No. 23 overall. The No. 54 pick in the second round was used to bring in a top-flight safety in LSU's AJ Haulcy.
Possibly armed with two third-round picks thanks to the Haason Reddick trade, the Eagles could use the No. 68 pick on Ohio State pass rusher Caden Curry, while the projected third-round compensatory pick may help them land a backup tackle in Indiana's Carter Smith.
3-round 2026 NFL Mock Draft has Eagles drafting Kenyon Sadiq, AJ Haulcy
Sadiq is not only the best tight end in this class, but he may be the only tight end taken in the first two rounds. An elite receiver for the position who flashes enough as a blocker to play in-line, Sadiq can replace Goedert as one of the most important members of the Philly passing game immediately.
Given how Reed Blankenship has regressed, pairing the 6-2 Haulcy with Andrew Mukuba could help the Eagles lock down the safety position for the next half-decade. Not only is Haulcy capable of covering a ton of ground in zone coverage, but he is more than willing to come down into the box and lay some thunder as a tackler.
Even on a defense featuring projected first-rounders Sonny Styles, Kayden McDonald, and possible No. 2 pick Arvell Reese, Curry is the only player to have recorded double-digit sacks. A classic speed rusher who could be a menace on passing downs, Curry can make up for a lackluster Eagles pass rush after losing Josh Sweat.

Smith may dip a bit in the Draft after struggling against Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor in the National Championship game, but he hadn't given up a sack all year long. The Eagles' offensive line depth is suspect, and Smith could make for a welcome addition.
