There's no such thing as a trade rumor that doesn't at least involve Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman being a part of it.

Sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini that the Las Vegas Raiders are actually considering trading star defensive end Maxx Crosby. The relationship has soured since the Raiders forced Crosby to shut down for the season, prompting him to walk out of the facility.

Philly is always aggressive with pass rushers, as they reportedly made offers for Micah Parsons and Myles Garrett before and during the season. Despite trading for Jaelan Phillips and having good young talent like Nolan Smith Jr. and Jalyx Hunt on the team, Roseman would most likely be open to at least having a conversation about Crosby.

3 Eagles Trade Proposals for Las Vegas Raiders for Maxx Crosby

Las Vegas Raiders receive 2026 and 2027 First Round Picks, 2026 Third Round Pick (previous Jets pick)

The Raiders are going to want to build for the future and know they need to do it with draft picks. Having Philly's first-round picks for the next two years gives them trade assets to move up if they want to, and with the New York Jets picking low in the upcoming draft, that third-round pick could end up being like another second-round pick.

If the Raiders want a quick solution for Crosby, the Eagles might be willing to move on from Smith as despite missing five games this season, he has still put up good number with 28 tackles, 13 quarterback pressures, 10 quarterback hits, three sacks, one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble. Las Vegas would be getting a quick, young defender who can be a day-one start, as he has only developed for three years.

Las Vegas Raiders receive 2026 and 2027 First Round Picks, EDGE Jalyx Hunt

The Raiders might be more hesitant with Hunt since he's only in his second season, so it might take two first rounds to get it done, but Hunt is no slouch. He's arguably having a better season than Smith is, with 50 tackles, 29 pressures, 24 quarterback hits, nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass deflections, two interceptions, and one pick-six in 16 games. Las Vegas would be crazy not go for this package.
