The Philadelphia Eagles are flying high going into Saturday's preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns after beating another AFC North opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, last week 34-27.

This week, the Eagles' training camp has been a mixed bag of performances. They got off to a strong start to the week, but Thursday's joint practice with the Browns left a lot to be desired.

Philly is hoping for a better performance during the game, as there will be plenty of storylines to watch out for, including position battles and new starters stepping into the fold.

First look at Eagles' first-team units playing

It appears all signs point towards the starters playing for the Eagles for the first time in the preseason. This is a great opportunity to see how the new guards perform and what the offense could look like when offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo calls the plays with Jalen Hurts at quarterback. One of the big questions will be how much Patullo calls for a pass play versus a running play.

CB2 position battle rings the bell for Round 2

If two players need to rebound from game one to game two more than anyone else on the Eagles, it would be cornerbacks Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo. Jackson and Ringo got torn apart against Ja'Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals. This is their chance for redemption and to make sure newcomer Jakorian Bennett doesn't enter himself in the competition.

Brett Toth's debut as starting left guard

Landon Dickerson's meniscus injury had everyone running around in a panic before it appeared that he could be back by Week 1. Brett Toth has been holding his own so far in training camp against the starters. The Browns in a live game will be his first test to see how he does and whether the team can trust to roll with him if Dickerson isn't ready for the Dallas Cowboys game.
