Week 2 of OTAs was a bit more newsworthy for the Philadelphia Eagles after what happened off the field with a certain trade.
A.J. Brown is now with the New England Patriots, and the Eagles can move on from the lingering drama that came with him. The focus of the OTAs was on how the offense looks with another week under their belts and what kind of progress everyone made.
While a few more negative aspects of the OTA workout were in front of the media, there was also some good progress. Here's a look at the winners and losers from the second week of OTAs:
Winner: Riq Woolen, CB
It sounds like Woolen is getting better and better after a solid week of OTAs. The media saw him break up a couple of passes in practice, which were impressive and showed off his length and size in coverage. Those are welcoming reports after hearing all about the struggles at CB2 last year with Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo.
Loser: Makai Lemon, WR
After getting some work in last week, Lemon was forced onto the sidelines in Week 2 of OTAs with a hamstring injury. It appears he is done for OTAs, but there is optimism he will be back for training camp. Tough break for the rookie, who could use all the work he can get with the offense and replacing Brown after his trade.
Winner: Saquon Barkley, RB
Barkley reportedly had a long completion during practice, which has some in the media wondering whether he'll play a bigger role in the passing game in 2026. Throughout his career, Barkley has always had good hands and can make defenders miss with his speed and power, so it makes sense that he can help there. The Eagles might have found another source they can turn to in the passing game right out of the backfield.
Loser: Jalen Hurts, QB
It was an off week for Hurts after starting off strong last week, going 11 of 14. Things were different in his second week of real work in Sean Mannion's offense: he threw two touchdowns but had an interception on his first throw and reportedly had more off-target passes. There's still plenty of time for him to clean up the mistakes, but it was still not the best week for Hurts.

Winner: Andy Dalton, QB
Let's finish with some good quarterback news as Dalton is starting to solidify himself as the QB2 on the Eagles after a good bounce-back week. It sounds as if Dalton is getting more accurate and comfortable in Mannion's offense, as he outperformed Tanner McKee as the backup. The Eagles are going to have a heated battle at QB2 in training camp, with Dalton as a big reason for it.
