There's a month before Philadelphia Eagles fans can finally start getting some news coming out of training camp, but until then, there is a lot of other commentary needing to be said.
Most of the attention will be on guys like Jalen Hurts, Sean Mannion, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, and more. Those guys have dominated the headlines over the offseason and will continue to during the regular season.
There are four players that Eagles fans really should be talking about more for multiple reasons, but aren't getting the love their deserve. Here are the four that need to be talked about more often.
Four Eagles players to have on the radar that no one is talking about
Cameron Latu, TE
There's excitement over the newcomers at the tight end position like rookie Eli Stowers and Johnny Mundt, but let's not forget about the value that Latu brings to the team. Last year, Latu was a monster on special teams as he had 11 tackles and a blocked punt in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was also a force on offense with his blocking with Grant Calcaterra struggling to get that job done.
Not many people are paying attention to the kind of weapon that Latu is and that value he brings to this roster. Watch for him to still be a threat to make the 53-man roster and continue to be the Swiss Army Knife everyone knows him to be.
Smael Mondon Jr., LB
It was a quiet rookie season for Mondon as he was more of a special teams guy, but still had 11 tackles in 17 games. He got some snaps on defense late in the season, but he never really got the chance to showcase what he can do.
Every Eagles fans is gushing over Jeremiah Trotter Jr. after his great OTAs, but Mondon is also going to be picking up more playing time at linebacker this season with Nakobe Dean gone. Watch for Mondon to show his full potential and get some rotation time in 2026.
Ty Robinson, DT
Remember all that hype around Robinson at OTAs last year because of his size? Well, he never really had too many chances to play on the field, but still had five tackles, one quarterback hit, and one pass deflection in 11 games.
It might end up being more of the same early on, but Robinson showed flashes of his capabilities at defensive tackle. Eagles fans would love to see him get in the rotation more often as he's got all the potential to be the next great defensive tackle in Philly.

Rocco Underwood, LS
Eagles fans have to give some love to the long snapper, as Underwood is in a position that has gone underappreciated. Last year, Philly cycled through two long snappers, making 2026 important to get some stability at the position.
The Eagles have one of the best coming out of college as Underwood won the Patrick Mannelly Award in 2024 as the nation's best long snapper and was a second-team All-SEC selection that same year. Philly is hoping they have their guy of the future in Underwood.
