With Super Bowl LIX on the horizon, all eyes are on the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles matchup. Still, we can’t overlook that NFL free agency is around the corner. Teams will have the chance to negotiate with free agents between March 10-11. The official window opens on March 12.

Among the players expected to hit unrestricted free agency are a few key Eagles players, and this offseason could bring significant changes to the roster. Thanks to ESPN veteran reporter Jeremy Fowler's insights, we can take a closer look at the top free agents currently in Philadelphia. —players whose contracts are either expiring or set to void.

Fowler’s ranking of the top 50 impending free agents was built by considering players' ages, positional value, potential future production, and the latest buzz from the league. While the rankings could shift as teams extend contracts or use franchise tags, here are some Eagles to watch this offseason.

Josh Sweat is set to make a major impact in free agency.

Josh Sweat’s impressive performance this year, with eight sacks and 33 pressures, has made him one of the most sought-after edge rushers in the upcoming free-agency period. His versatility in varying defensive schemes makes him a game-changer.

Sweat could be a potential fit for teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots. With his youth and experience, he is poised to secure a lucrative deal somewhere.

Zack Baun’s breakout season sets him up for a big payday.

Zack Baun, a linebacker with a tremendous skill set, posted standout numbers this season, including 150 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and five forced fumbles. His ability to contribute on all three downs and even set the edge as a physical player has made him a key target for teams in need of a dynamic linebacker.

With potential suitors lining up, Baun is ready to cash in on his breakout year. It would take another Howie Roseman masterclass for the Eagles to be able to keep him around with his rising price tag.

Mekhi Becton’s move to guard boosts his stock.

Mekhi Becton’s transition from tackle to guard in Philadelphia has proven successful, showcasing his massive frame and powerful playstyle. With impressive run-blocking abilities and the footwork to protect the passer, Becton’s versatility makes him an intriguing option for teams searching for a reliable interior lineman.

His youth and experience across the offensive line make him a prime free-agent candidate; although, it would not be a surprise if he sticks around after this Super Bowl run.

Milton Williams' rise as a dominant defensive tackle.

The growth seen from Milton Williams this season has been undeniable, finishing the regular season with five sacks and 18 pressures. The 25-year-old has an incredible ability to control the line of scrimmage with his agility and burst as a pass rusher.

The Eagles will likely look to keep their 2021 third-round pick in Philadelphia, in hopes of curating a strong, youthful line around him with names like Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Regardless, Williams will be a valuable asset wherever he plays next season.

The impact of free agency on the Eagles' future.

As the 2025 NFL free agency period approaches, these four Eagles are set to make a significant impact. Whether it's Josh Sweat's pass-rushing skills, Zack Baun's versatility, Milton Williams' dominance in the trenches, or Mekhi Becton's physical prowess, each player has the potential to land a major deal.

It’s safe to say that come March, the future of this Eagles roster holds much uncertainty. But for now, all eyes are set on one thing… a Super Bowl LIX ring.
