Well, the opposite almost happened to the Philadelphia Eagles from last week against the Los Angeles Rams, but Philly held off a comeback rally from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win 31-25.

From fake Tush Pushes to interceptions in the end zone, this game had everything to give Eagles fans heart attacks. Philly's special teams got a punt block and returned for a touchdown as the special teams played well. The offense and defense played well in the first half, but struggled in the second half to barely hold on for the win.

There were plenty of winners and losers from this game, but the winners certainly made a massive imapct on the result of the game.

Winner: Quinyon Mitchell, CB

Mitchell had the formidable challenge of shadowing Emeka Egbuka throughout the game, and he answered the call big time. He had five tackles and a staggering five pass deflections in the game. There shouldn't be any questions about Mitchell being CB1, as he is a true shutdown cornerback.

Loser: Lane Johnson, RT

This isn't so much about performance as it is, given that he has been injured once again. He left the third quarter with a shoulder injury and never came back. Fred Johnson replaced him for the second consecutive week. It's hard not to start thinking whether he is beginning to lose the juices a bit, as he can't seem to stay on the field for a full game.

Winner: Cooper DeJean, CB

It felt like with every tackle DeJean was making, he was laying the wood on every single hit. He finished the game with nine tackles and two pass deflections as he and Mitchell led the way in the secondary. DeJean seems to have a quiet start to the season, but put himself back on the map with that strong performance.

Loser: Kelee Ringo, CB

So, so many missed tackles for Ringo. He did get a nice pass deflection in the game, but the dropoff between Adoree' Jackson as a tackler versus Ringo is night and day. The Eagles have to hope that Jackson returns in Week 5 because Ringo is not the answer at CB2.

Winner: Jihaad Campbell, LB

It wasn't a perfect game for Campbell, as he was burned on a deep touchdown pass and incurred some penalties. The rookie kept battling and made the biggest play of the game with a fourth quarter interception. He added four tackles, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble. Give him time to develop, and he's going to be an elite NFL linebacker.

Loser: A.J. Brown, WR

Look, a lot of his targets to Brown were a bit inaccurate, but nine targets should mean more production from him, right? Well, he only got two catches for seven yards. This will only create more headlines this week about why he is being inconsistent.

Winner: Zack Baun, LB

Baun does everything on this defense from stopping the run to dropping back into coverage. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, though, used him a ton on blitzes and found a lot of success. He finished with eight tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack. Another typical great game for Baun, but he made big plays at some critical moments.
