The Philadelphia Eagles find another way to hurt their fan base, as expected, after blowing a 10-point fourth-quarter lead to lose to the Los Angeles Rams 24-20 in Week 4.

This is the second straight week this Eagles offense was shut out in the second half, but this time it managed to get a season-low 172 yards and failed to convert any of its 12 third downs. The defense, which played so well through three quarters, allowed touchdowns on the Rams' final two full drives.

Sure, it would be easy to find plenty of losers from this game, but there are actually more winners than Eagles fans might expect. Here's a look at some of the winners and losers from the Eagles' embarrassing Week 4 loss.

Winners and losers from Eagles' Week 4 loss to Rams

Winner: Darius Cooper, WR

Yes, he had only three receptions for 33 yards, but Cooper had two great touchdown catches that gave Eagles fans hope in the first half. The first touchdown, where he ripped it out of the Rams defender's hands, was one of the best of the year. This man 100% deserves more snaps for an Eagles offense that could use a spark.

Loser: Cam Jurgens, OG

For the third straight week, Jurgens allows the most pressures on the offensive line, but this time he managed to allow a season-high five pressures without Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett on the field. Eagles fans are begging for Willie Lampkin to replace him. It might be justified at this point.

Winner: Michael Carter II, S

Surprisingly, Carter came in and did a great job replacing Marcus Epps at safety. Carter finished with four tackles and a team-high three pass deflections, while allowing only one reception on three targets for seven yards. Yeah, he probably should be starting at safety moving forward.

Loser: Jalen Hurts, QB

Hurts had nothing to work with, as DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Lane Johnson, Landon Dickerson, and Hollywood Brown were all out. He's still the quarterback and needs to find a way to win, which he usually does. Hurts only completed 12-of-27 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't turn the ball over, but it was not a good game for him.

Winner: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB

This was Trotter's first career start outside Week 18, and he certainly lived up to the preseason hype. He led the team with 15 tackles and recorded one pass deflection in the loss. While he did allow completions, they didn't get far after that, which was more than could be said about Jihaad Campbell (we'll talk about him in a bit).

Loser: Sean Mannion, OC

Not converting any of the 12 third downs, putting up 172 yards of offense, and calling a Tush Push on a fourth-and-long with no conversion. These aren't things Eagles fans wanted to see from Mannion after being told all offseason what a genius he is. This doesn't fall entirely on him, but right now, we're seeing the same problems we saw in 2025 with this offense, and it's disturbing.

Winner: Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE

Smith is really coming into his own as the team's best and most consistent pass rusher. He got his second sack of the season and got in Matthew Stafford's face throughout the game. Smith is playing his way into a long-term contract extension this offseason, and the Jonathan Greenard trade and extension look awful right now.

Loser: Jihaad Campbell, LB

Campbell got his tackles with nine, but every time Tyler Higbee caught the ball toward the sidelines, Campbell gave up an easy completion for a lot of yards. The Rams attacked him throughout the game, as they have seen what Eagles fans have: he's a liability in coverage.

Winner: Jake Elliott, K

Elliot took a beating over the last two years, but this season, he looks back in form. Even in bad weather, he still made both his field goals and, most impressively, a 56-yarder. The Eagles' offense may be terrible, but Elliott is at least reliable again.

Loser: Nick Sirianni, HC

From the questionable fourth-down decisions to watching his defense and offense collapse again in the second half, the blame has fallen on Sirianni for the second straight week. The man has won a lot of games, but fans' patience is starting to wear thin. Calling for his firing is premature, but it might need to be discussed slowly at first.
