With the Tennessee Titans parting ways with wide receiver Treylon Burks, the player they essentially swapped in for A.J. Brown, who they sent to the Philadelphia Eagles, the internet was ablaze with how one-sided the trade was. Granted, we knew that already, pretty much immediately after the fact, actually, but now the ink is officially dry.
However, Brown doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, he's ready to ramp up.
What Brown has done in training camp to expect even more from the Eagles' top receiver
In the first week of training camp, this man, known as Batman, a hero of the Eagles, has been simply dominating. It's to the point where Brown has looked completely uncatchable. It's truly an uplifting sign, as many talking heads in the NFL community will have you believe that Brown can be a locker room issue this year, which is off-base.
Brown has reportedly been laying waste to everyone in the Eagles' secondary, not named Quinyon Mitchell. The second-year stud cornerback has been the only one capable of running stride for stride with Brown, which in itself is also exciting. The fact that Brown looks like he's getting better is enough to make Eagles fans giddy. You throw on the fact that "Quinyanamo Bay" is still open for business, and it's enough to send Eagles fans over the edge.
The Philadelphia Eagles aren't going anywhere. Not only are their young rising stars looking ready to shine brighter, such as Mitchell, but their veteran leaders are also poised to take another step forward, a development we didn't even think was possible at this point.
