The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions.
How nice is that to say? How nice is that to hear? It's better when you consider who they beat to get there and even sweeter when you realize they stopped the first three-peat from happening in NFL history. That makes this dominating win that much more special for a city like Philadelphia, which has longed for this feeling for far too long.
Fortunately, they can now rest easy as they got their revenge over the evil empire of the Kansas City Chiefs and have officially put themselves on the map as a team not to be messed with. That hasn't been the case in recent years despite their continued success, especially since Jalen Hurts became their starting quarterback.
So seeing him have an outstanding game, outplaying Patrick Mahomes who is considered the best at the position in the game today, makes Hurts an undeniable talent.
Jalen Hurts gets the right message from Brandon Graham after dominant Super Bowl LIX win
That was the immediate message Hurts' teammate Brandon Graham wanted to give to the quarterback once the game was officially over.
As he was about to speak with FOX Sports for his first post-game interview, Graham embraced Hurts and gave his appreciation, while also encouraging him to stand up for himself to the media who have consistently deemed him a glorified running back instead of a talented quarterback.

There's not much more that can be said and Hurts has every right to have a gripe with those who have criticized him beyond the usual over the last few years.
Every player has bad moments, and even talented quarterbacks can take time to find their groove, but labeling Hurts as a running back, similar to what many have done with Lamar Jackson, is just flat-out disrespect and unnecessary.
Fortunately, Hurts showed them just how wrong the doubters were again on the biggest stage against a formidable opponent.
