15 years is a long time to do anything. Think about it. Some of our children aren't even 15 years old yet, and they have already given us a lifetime of joy and great memories as our Philadelphia Eagles did during the 2024-25 NFL season. Brandon Graham hasn't announced his retirement yet, but if he does, he'll have many stories to tell about his 15 seasons in green.
When B.G.'s autobiography is written, it will contain tales from a career that, at one point, seemed destined for failure. In true Philly fashion, however, (and, in the spirit of a Motor City that raised him), he put his head down, kept working, and made a decision.
'I'm going to be the author of my own story'. That story may include the greatest walkaway act in the history of sports.
Graham is the author of the greatest strip-sack in Super Bowl history and a two-time world champion. We can learn a lot from his example. Then again, we can learn the same lesson from or friends at FanSided and the Special Olympics.

Brandon Graham tells our FanSided family what he'd be doing had he not spent the past 15 years with the Eagles.
Several members of our FanSided family made the journey to the Big Easy to cover the most recent Super Bowl. We partnered with our longtime comrades, the Special Olympics, to deliver the best behind-the-scenes access possible.
Malcolm Harris-Gowdie and Wyatt Spalding worked tirelessly and provided A-1 coverage. At one point, they even found their way to the future Eagles Hall of Famer during opening night to ask him a question.
What would he be doing if he could enjoy a career outside of football?
"If I had a career outside of football, I'd be an entrepreneur because I just like to move around. I like New York, so I like the hustle and bustle of that". We've watched B.G. for a decade and a half in the Midnight and Kelly Green. Unless he was locked in and working during an Eagles game that needed his attention, we've never seen him without his trademark smile.
Then again, now that we think about it, sometimes he smiled all game long.
That being said, whatever B.G. is selling, we're buying. Maybe he'll have time to take a bite out of the Big Apple now. If this is it, we've enjoyed one heck of a ride, but again, at the time of this story's release, he hasn't officially retired yet. Who knows? Maybe he'll give us one more season.
