If Philadelphia Eagles fans thought they had escape the wrath of Dianna Russini's reporting on wide receiver A.J. Brown being traded, they were sorely mistaken.

The Eagles were rumored to be trading Brown away for almost two months, following his cryptic tweets and issues with a lack of involvement in the offense. All that was destroyed the moment the trade deadline came and passed, with Brown still being an Eagle.

Russini was the one reporter who bombarded fans with tweet after tweet and story after story, urging them to watch for the trade that ultimately did not happen. While appearing on The Ryen Russillo Show, Russillo asked Russini about which player didn't get traded that could have gotten traded. Russini, of course, had to spend time on Brown.

"I think A.J. Brown had the biggest name in this trade deadline from Philly that was so strong about letting everyone know 'we are not moving him. We love him. We need him.' But it was so hard to gauge what was the reality just knowing how miserable the player's been, right? Like, all you have to do is go to his Instagram and you can pretty much read the tea leaves here, which is he was fed up with everyone and everything with the way the offense was running, you know, and look, there's a couple conversations that you could have in relation to A.J. Brown. One of them being, what is he so upset about? Coming off the Minnesota game, he's got two touchdowns, 120 yards. He wants to be part of this offense consistently throughout, right? He doesn't want to just be used to use his word, right, when they need him. So, how do you fix that? And if you have a disgruntled wide receiver, which we've seen a million times in our careers, right, where they want the ball more. How do you manage those personalities and keep him happy? Which is why I kept watching that. And lucky for A.J. and really lucky for Howie Roseman, Philly's good at one thing, and that's dealing with drama. They've done very well with that over the last year. They did it last year and won a Super Bowl."

It's time to move on as Brown is an Eagle

Eagles fans have grown tired of Russini's reporting on Brown and why she is so obsessed with this story. Multiple times, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had to say they don't want to trade him, and Roseman said he wants Brown in Philly after the trade deadline.

Yes, everyone understands that Brown has expressed frustrations. It's okay to do that, as Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and other players on the Eagles have expressed the same frustrations, but no trade rumors were brought on about them.

This has been a slower season for Brown as he has 29 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. What fans know about Brown is that Jalen Hurts is going to find him, and he's going to throw it to him often, as shown in the last three games Brown has played.

Unfortunately, Eagles fans will have to brace for more of this kind of reporting, as Russini is unlikely to let it go anytime soon. Get ready for the offseason for more Brown trade rumors.
