The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions and currently have the best record in the NFC. There shouldn't be that much to be unhappy about. Sure, the team could be playing at a higher level and winning more convincingly, but they're doing enough to stay ahead.
Apparently, that is not resonating with star wide receiver A.J. Brown. Eagles fans have become accustomed to a slight bit of unrest with Brown, as he embodies the typical mantra of a No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL who cares deeply about their own successes, sometimes at the expense of a win.
Take Week 10's Monday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers as an example. It wasn't pretty, but Philadelphia won on the road against a great team, particularly one with a great defense. But Brown had just two catches for 13 yards on three targets, so he is unhappy.
A.J. Brown is (yet again) making disparaging remarks about his Eagles situation
On Tuesday evening, Brown joined a Madden video game live stream with JankyRondo. The two have a prior relationship, and when the streamer asked Brown how everything had been with him lately, Brown didn't bite his tongue.
"No. Where have you been?" Brown asked. "Family good, yeah. Everything else, no. It's a (expletive) show. 'How you been?' Ah, struggling, brother."
Once again, Brown is stirring the pot in the midst of the Eagles' success. In his last two games, Brown caught 10 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns, but it seemingly only takes one bad performance to pull Brown back down.
Yes, his usage has been inconsistent this season, and both the team and the fan base are aware of it. The Eagles are a better team when Brown is getting the ball more often, as he is truly one of the toughest players to cover in the entire NFL.
But Philadelphia found something in the second half, albeit not much, playing through DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, and sometimes, that is just the way that the cookie crumbles. The Packers have one of the best defenses in the league, and things won't always be so simple for Philadelphia.

While fans surely understand where Brown is coming from, he can't keep continuing to stir the pot. This Eagles team is poised to make another deep playoff run and try to fully supplant the Kansas City Chiefs as the league's new dynasty, but they can't get there if players are too focused on their stats and usage, rather than wins and losses.
