Has it sunk in yet? Say this loudly and see how you feel. The Philadelphia Eagles are going to the Super Bowl! That's something fans will never get tired of hearing.

The location and the contenders are known. The goal is obvious. The uniform choices are set.

Jalen Hurts and company will wear their home fit, midnight green jerseys and white pants. The Kansas City Chiefs will wear their visiting ensemble, white jerseys on red pants.

Does this sound familiar? If so, that's because it should. Both teams will wear the same jersey combinations they wore in Super Bowl LVII.

The Eagles aren't fearing any jinx despite the previous disappointment. Their home jerseys have been a good luck charm, and they hope they are again on Super Bowl Sunday.

Sadly, we all know how Super Bowl LVII ended. The Eagles lost by three points. That began this current Chiefs journey to a possible three-peat.

The Chiefs wore white on red in that game. Here's something strange. 16 of the last 20 teams that have worn the visiting jersey have won the coveted Lombardi Trophy.

But, the Eagles don't care about any of that.

As the NFC representative in New Orleans, Philly will be the home team. They got to choose first and they went with midnight green helmets, midnight green jerseys, and white pants.

Here's the kicker.

After the bye week, the Eagles enjoyed a ten-game winning streak. It ended with vs. the Commanders. Philly got revenge in the NFC Championship Game. The Birds have won five straight since losing in Landover. That includes three wins during the postseason.

During those 16 weeks, the Eagles wore midnight green nine times and won each time they did so.

It sounds like the classic home fits have been a good luck charm. Ten wins in a row in green on white will give the Birds another Vince Lombardi Trophy. It's all a numbers game, right?

February 9th approaches. The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST!
