Are expectations high for the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles?
Well, yes, the team is under review each week, especially on the offensive side of the ball. While the season has had its ups and downs for Philadelphia, the team sits at 9-5 as the NFC's No. 3 seed. With three weeks left in the season, Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon broke down what each NFL team's dream scenario is for the final stretch of the NFL season.
"Just win another game to get back to the dance and take some momentum into the playoffs for another Super Bowl run."
Is just getting there enough for Eagles fans?
Gagnon put a lot of effort into his analysis of the Eagles' dream scenario, much like Jalen Hurts has when asked about staying on target with the team's goals. While Gagnon's response was short, it got to the point of what Philadelphia would love to see as the 2025 season comes to an end.
In the NFL, it's often the teams that get "hot" at the right time, making a push for a strong playoff run that culminates with the Lombardi Trophy. For Philadelphia a team that has been so volatile over the past 10 weeks getting back on track with a win against Washington on Saturday, allowing them to clinch a playoff berth to begin focusing on the "main thing".
Philadelphia is well-positioned to take care of business against a Commanders team that has battled injuries, particularly at quarterback. The Eagles need a win against Washington or a loss by the division rival Dallas Cowboys to "punch their ticket" for the 2025 playoffs.

The Eagles face the Commanders twice during the final three weeks, with the Buffalo Bills "sandwiched" in between. For the Eagles, if they fail to clinch this weekend, Philadelphia may be facing a "nightmare scenario" in the final two of the season.
