Eagles fan, Governor Josh Shapiro, makes a statement that won't play well in Dallas

This won't play well in Texas, but you don't think we care, do you?

What a day! What a freaking day! This season... This Philadelphia Eagles campaign... This run to glory... The Philadelphia Eagles lost one game after their Week 5 bye week, and they were up on the scoreboard in that one before Jalen Hurts left early because of a head injury.

Here's the thing. They still could have won that game.

Oh well. There's no sense in crying over spilled milk. Things turned out okay. There's a second Vince Lombardi Trophy to place in the trophy case now. A perfect season found its perfect ending. A parade came on Valentine's Day after two Birds, Saquon Barkley and Cooper DeJean both won their first ring on their birthdays.

The 'Rocky Steps' at the Museum of Art again hosted one heck of a ceremony. And, guess what? Pennsylvania's governor made an appearance.

Josh Shapiro makes an announcement. The Philadelphia Eagles, not the Dallas Cowboys, are now America's Team.

We'll talk about this one forever. Zack Baun autographed someone's baby. Howie Roseman took a beer can to the head and took the podium to let everyone know he isn't going anywhere.

"I bleed for this city"!

Yep! You certainly got that, right Howie! Did you see that dude's forehead?

The mic drop moments went to A.J, Brown and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.

“They said I was a diva! They said all I cared about was stats… If you're going to get all of those things wrong about me, but there’s one thing you can get right.. I’m a (expletive) champion!”

That's nice! And, he deserves that, but Shapiro wasn't to be outdone. He claimed that Philly, not Dallas was now America's Team.

That last statement may not play well in the Lone Star State, but come on. Do you really believe we care about how Cowboys fans are feeling?

Birds fans are the best in the world. They turned a 'neutral site game' vs. the Kansas City Chiefs into a home game with a roof on the building.

They helped turn Valentine's Day into one of the best of our lives. Go celebrate with the wives, husbands, significant others, and family now! It's been a great day! Now, go have yourselves a great evening!
