The calls for a new offensive coordinator to replace Kevin Patullo are loud and clear; however, some Eagles fans may be getting a bit delusional.
Recently, Nick Foles has been going a bit viral within Eagles circles, with a "TikTok" video (that's been repurposed by many accounts) stating what he's done in the past to keep the offense engaged and moving forward.
Some Eagles fans are officially going off the deep end
While Foles has a special place in not only Eagles history but also in the story of the NFL, the knee-jerk reaction to hire and elevate him to such a crucial position seems a bit immature and driven by emotion rather than facts. While calmer heads have taken an analytical approach to the offensive coordinator position, social media is littered with support for the former Super Bowl MVP.
Foles' approach to reinvigorating the offense is pretty simple: have a committee and figure out what the players want to run, scheme-wise. While the approach is simplistic, gathering 11 plus millionaires, with egos in a room, asking their opinions on how to run the offense, probably isn't the best approach in a team that is dealing with several layers of dysfunction.
The Eagles need leadership and direction on the offensive side of the ball right now, which they are receiving little to none from current offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. While some fans lean on Nick Sirianni to get the offense back on track, the leadership abilities of the Eagles' head coach are even in question with the hiring of his "friend" to one of the coaching staff's most important positions.

Regardless, whether it's an impulse decision of propping up Foles to offensive coordinator for a "spark", or hiring an experienced "analyst", with the Eagles offense struggling, fans will continue to speculate and hope for a change. Whether those claims are warranted or based in reality, well, that's another question in itself.
