The Philadelphia Eagles' defensive pass rush has gone through more highs and lows than a roller coaster ride.

In the first half of the season, the Eagles were among the league's worst in sacks, and their defensive front struggled. Even when the team brought in Za'Darius Smith from free agency, he lasted five games until he decided to hang up the cleats for good.

From injuries to Nolan Smith Jr. and Jalen Carter, the Eagles were in trouble on the defensive line this season. That's until Jaelan Phillips came to help via trade and has been great. One other guy, though, has made just as big, if not a bigger, impact than Phillips in multiple ways.

If this is it for Brandon Graham, he certainly played the role of Superman well

Graham decided to come out of retirement to help the Eagles out after Smith retired. The first five games for the long-time Eagles veteran were not good as he made a whopping one tackle.

Everything changed in the Las Vegas Raiders game when he recorded two sacks against them, and he added another the following week against the Washington Commanders. What was most impressive about this was that Graham was asked to play more as a defensive tackle for Carter, who was out with shoulders injury, and was producing sacks from a position he never really played.

All of a sudden, with three sacks in two games, Graham is becoming a difference maker nobody thought would happen. Not many Eagles fans wanted him back in 2026, the first five games after his return, but now fans are begging him to add just one more year on the field.

Who knows what will come of Graham the rest of the season and before the 2026 season, but Eagles fans should enjoy these last few games of the regular season. It might genuinely be the last for one of the franchise's best players.
