Week 7 was a pretty bad indication for any of the Philadelphia Eagles' upcoming 2027 free agents who are trying to help themselves out.

The Eagles are coming off a crushing 38-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. With the team at 2-5, trade rumors involving Philly players are expected. Specifically, guys on one-year contracts or in the final year of their deals.

Some of them helped themselves, but many hurt their chances. Some will be free agents who might be inching closer to a bigger contract with another team in the offseason. Here's a look at some of the upcoming Eagles free agents and how they are doing.

  1. Riq Woolen is doing nothing to help his trade value with Eagles
  2. Dallas Goedert is staying as consistent as he has ever been
  3. Dameon Piece showing improvement in the backfield
  4. Moro Ojomo gets hurts and didn't play up to his standards
  5. Hollywood Brown makes first kind of impact with Eagles in 2026

Riq Woolen is doing nothing to help his trade value with Eagles

Woolen was having a decent season as the Eagles' CB2, but he got exposed big time against the Cowboys. He allowed 117 yards, a 156.3 passer rating, and a touchdown in the loss.

The Eagles should still have a market for teams wanting to trade for Woolen as their new CB2. Still, Philly hoped he would play better to increase his value with a high Day 3 draft pick, but that might not happen.

Dallas Goedert is staying as consistent as he has ever been

If there is one guy that the Eagles can always rely on on offense, it's usually Goedert. He caught five passes for 48 yards, including an 18-yard catch against the Cowboys.

Philly could be in the market to trade Goedert if they want to go all-in on rookie Eli Stowers playing more in 2026. The Eagles wouldn't get a top-tier draft pick for him, but since Goedert has been such a good player for them, the franchise might do him a solid and move him to a better team where he has a chance to win a Super Bowl or make a lot more money.

Dameon Piece showing improvement in the backfield

Pierce has steadily improved over the last two games since taking over as the main back. Against the Cowboys, he had 14 carries for 47 yards and one touchdown, plus one reception for one yard.

This was his best game of the season so far and could be looking at getting the rock more often until Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley are back. Pierce is also helping himself for the offseason to land a new contract as a potential backup elsewhere.

Moro Ojomo gets hurts and didn't play up to his standards

Ojomo did get hurt in the Cowboys game in the fourth quarter, but even with that, he did not play as well. He got five tackles, but struggled to get any pressures on Dak Prescott or make a tackle for loss.

The Eagles will still be in a prime position to trade Ojomo away, but it hurt a bit. Hopefully, it doesn't devalue him too much, and the Eagles can get a decent Day 3 draft pick in a trade if they want to move on from him.

Hollywood Brown makes first kind of impact with Eagles in 2026

Brown...making plays for the Eagles? It actually happened against Dallas, as he caught two passes for 30 yards. Still, he missed an opportunity for another great back-shoulder catch and didn't play the ball well against Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr.

Now, those are his only two catches on the season, but it does help with the recent rumors that Brown could be traded. There are a lot of wide receiver-needy teams out there, so he could be on his way out and his latest performance should help him out.
