Philadelphia Eagles fans rejoice! Another key playmaker could be returning to the field shortly. The team announced today that tight end Dallas Goedert's 21-day practice window has officially opened.

After suffering a knee injury one month ago, during one of Philly's most impressive wins of the season, he was placed on the team's injured reserve but is now eligible to return once cleared medically. It appears it's likely he'll return right in time for the playoffs.

Eagles offense will be at full strength after Goedert's return.

There's been a lot of talk about the Eagles offense this season. The passing game has improved as A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have been more involved. Saquon Barkley has joined not one but two 2,000-yard clubs.

The offensive line has remained indestructible after Jason Kelce's parting thanks to some stellar play from Cam Jurgens. Adding Dallas Goedert to the bunch just elevates this offense further into elite status.

In nine games, Goedert has tallied 38 catches for 441 yards, and he has scored two touchdowns. Despite missing seven games this season due to injury, he had a remarkable game in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.

He caught ten passes and racked up 170 yards in that one, the most receiving yards tallied by an Eagles TE in a single game since 1965. Playing in his absence was Grant Calcaterra. He added 22 receptions, 288 yards, and one touchdown to Philly's cause and was a reliable option in Goedert's absence.

The Eagles have announced they will sit their starters during Week 18, so fans shouldn't expect to see Goedert until the playoffs. The Wild Card Round is set to begin on January 11, giving No. 88 enough time to warm up.
